Lodge Leadership

Lodge & Chapter Leadership are the primary focus of the Order of the Arrow. If you are interested in becoming involved in OA leadership, please reach out to your Lodge Leadership. Your Lodges websites can be found on the “LODGES” tab on this website.

Section Conclave Leadership

The Section is responsible for holding the Annual Section Conclave where all 7 Lodges gather together in fellowship. In order to conduct the best event possible, we need help from all the lodges. If you are interested in helping plan or work at conclave, please reach out to us on the Contact page! 

Section Office

The Office of Section Chief is responsible for the overall operation of the Section. This includes leading a conclave planning committee of CVCs (Conclave Vice Chiefs) to plan the Section Conclave. In addition, they help support the Section Vice Chief in leading the annual training event and support the Section Secretary with their communication plans. The Section Chief is also sent as a delegate to the National Planning Meeting. where they have the ability to run for & elect the National Officers. They also serve on the planning committee for the annual Program of Emphasis.

The Office of Section Vice Chief is responsible for aiding in the overall operation of the Section including the planning of Section Conclave. The Vice Chief is responsible for leading the section's effort in planning the annual training conference. They will plan the conference's theme, content, and activities along with the trainers and staff recruited for that event. In addition, they help influence positive lodge performance in their PMP Report by connecting them with best practices and resources. The Section Chief will also delegate any duties needed.

The Office of Section Secretary is responsible for aiding in the overall operation of the Section. This includes helping plan the ACT Conference and Section Conclave. The Section Secretary leads the section's communication team and organizes the methods and content released on various platforms. They also mantain an updated roster of officers and events for the lodges in the section, as well as meeting minutes. The Section Chief will also delegate any duties needed.

Information about running for the
2026-2027 Section Officer term below!

Anyone wishing to run for a Section G7 office for the 2026-2027 terms must fill out the form below. The election will be the morning of October 4th, 2026, at the Section Conclave at Camp Lewallen. A candidate will be given the opportunity to speak on their goals and aspects needed for section office. Another youth Arrowmen will need to nominate a candidate for the position and give a speech for that candidate as well. Any officer must be under 21 for the entire term as officer (Under 21 until End of September 2027). 

 

We encourage each candidate to have a conversation with their Lodge Adviser about running for section office. This is a great chance to reflect on your time in the lodge and how you can take those skills and experiences to best serve all lodges within the section.

 
You are required to have written approval from your Council Scout Executive (or their representative) to run for this position. This should be sent to the Section Adviser Brent Wessel at brent.wessel09@gmail.com. The deadline for completing this form AND Council Scout Executive approval is THURSDAY October 1st at 11:59PM. Note: If elected Section Chief, that Arrowman must abdicate any lodge, territory, region, and/or national level Scouting positions including Venturing. This does NOT apply for the Section Vice-Chief and Secretary.
 
The Section Officer Seminar will take place October 23-25, 2026, in Dallas, TX and the new officers are expected to attend. Officers should plan to fly out of STL on Friday the 23rd and arrive back late Sunday the 25th.
