Section Conclave Leadership

The Section is responsible for holding the Annual Section Conclave where all 7 Lodges gather together in fellowship. In order to conduct the best event possible, we need help from all the lodges. Section Office

Information about running for the
2026-2027 Section Officer term below!

Anyone wishing to run for a Section G7 office for the 2026-2027 terms must fill out the form below. The election will be the morning of October 4th, 2026, at the Section Conclave at Camp Lewallen. A candidate will be given the opportunity to speak on their goals and aspects needed for section office. Another youth Arrowmen will need to nominate a candidate for the position and give a speech for that candidate as well. Any officer must be under 21 for the entire term as officer (Under 21 until End of September 2027). 

 

We encourage each candidate to have a conversation with their Lodge Adviser about running for section office. This is a great chance to reflect on your time in the lodge and how you can take those skills and experiences to best serve all lodges within the section.

 
You are required to have written approval from your Council Scout Executive (or their representative) to run for this position. This should be sent to the Section Adviser Brent Wessel at brent.wessel09@gmail.com. The deadline for completing this form AND Council Scout Executive approval is THURSDAY October 1st at 11:59PM. Note: If elected Section Chief, that Arrowman must abdicate any lodge, territory, region, and/or national level Scouting positions including Venturing. This does NOT apply for the Section Vice-Chief and Secretary.
 
The Section Officer Seminar will take place October 23-25, 2026, in Dallas, TX and the new officers are expected to attend. Officers should plan to fly out of STL on Friday the 23rd and arrive back late Sunday the 25th.
